Orange Coral steel freestanding Congress Bookcase by Lips Vago, 1968
About the Item
Congress model bookcase produced by Lips Vago since the 60s in painted steel. The bookcase is completely dismantled and its shelves adjustable in height.
This is one of the best bookcases ever designed for stability, solidity, versatility and modular concept. Perfect for domestic environments but also studios and offices. It was designed to be completely loaded by the weight of books without problems of stability and resistance.
This bookcase is painted in coral orange, it remains in overall fairly good condition, but in detail it has visible scratches, losses, signs of wear and oxidation as indicated in the photos, less visible once covered by books.
Two shelf support screws were replaced because they were missing.
