About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely original French circa 1910-1920 pine painted library steps or ladder made for and used by the Bibliotheque Nationale De France
A good looking and decorative piece, it has an armorial tyre crest to the rear carved in pine and stencilled above B.N Paris for the Bibliotheque Nationale De France as mentioned
We have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, they have all the period signs of being used, old wood worm which we have treated three times as required
