About the Item

Wolfgang Laubersheimer was born in Bad Kreuznach. After graduating from high school he completed an apprenticeship as an industrial employee and then studied metal sculpture in Cologne. In 1982, together with other designers and artists, he founded the furniture production company "Unikate" and in 1985 the design group "Pentagon". The "Regal Verspannter", is made of solid steel and painted with an industrial rust effect. It is unique, has a wire thread on the side which allows a fantastic curved design to form and impressive dimensions.
