Bar Counter with Marble Decoration, 1st half 20th Century

About the Item

Large counter with white lacquered wooden frame. The counter with chamfered corners is covered with strong marble slabs with brass rivets. The front is flanked by fluted pilasters on which rests a straight architrave. A large medallion of red marble marks the centre. The counter shelf is bordered by a low brass gallery. Behind it, there is ample storage space on two levels and two further narrow drawers.
