About the Item

Found in Italy, this 17th Century Four Door Cabinet or Cupboard once graced an Italian countryside villa. Hand crafted from old growth pine and forged iron hardware the piece features two large center doors and two smaller doors on each side. The center doors open to reveal three shelves and the interior shows remnants of paint and partially removed paper lining which was most likely added at a later date. The two smaller doors open to reveal three shelves for additional storage. Each of the doors retain their original functioning locking mechanism and keys. Presented as found, this cabinet retains its authentic appeal. With it's warm aesthetic and narrow proportions the cabinet adds a sense of comfort and character to any interior whether placed in a living room, dining room or hallway. This piece will undoubtedly become a focal point, garnering admiration form all who encounter it. 63.5"W x 20"D x 74.5"H
