About the Item
1920’s French Industrial Metal Cabinet Dark Green – Twenty Seven Klappets.
Beautifully made very heavy weight sheet metal filing cabinet, with thirty six hinged ‘klappet’ compartments. The compartments are the perfect size for letters and small documents, the front panel simply pulls down with a light pull and clicks back into location. The cabinet was originally from the offices of a large French company where they were used for document storage. This cabinet is completely original except at some stage in it’s history it was overpainted this dark muddy green. Underneath the green the cabinet has the complete set of original hardware, nameplates, pull handles and the enamel numbers. Reminiscent of Strafor but not marked in any way. Internal Compartment Dimensions: L37 W28 H20 cm.
