19th Century Chinese Qing Dynasty Period Wooden Cabinet with Bronze Medallion

About the Item

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period cabinet from the 19th century, with large bronze etched medallion. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty, this 19th century cabinet features a rectangular top overhanging two doors flanked with rounded side posts and fitted with a large bronze medallion with two geometrical handles. This medallion showcases etched Chinese characters, perhaps ceremonial figures, surrounded by traditional Chinese patterns such as cloudy scrolls. The doors open to reveal inner shelves and hidden drawers offering convenient storage space. Resting on four straight legs connected to one another through a simply carved apron on all sides, this Qing 19th century Chinese cabinet will make for an elegant addition to any home, perhaps adorning a living room, bedroom or study.
