A Chinese Qing Dynasty period red lacquer cabinet from the 19th century, with hand-carved doors. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty, this cabinet features a traditional linear shape perfectly complimented by a red lacquer with some black touches, a contrast used for centuries in China. Two hand-carved floral arrangements adorn the door panels. These auspicious patterns are nicely carved and enhanced by a dark red lacquer. The doors, fitted with elegant brass hardware, open on a black lacquered interior with a shelf. With its clean lines and lovely colors, this Qing Dynasty 19th century red lacquered and hand-carved cabinet will add an exotic touch in most homes, possibly in a bedroom next to a bed or in a living room under a tall mirror.
