21st Century Frida Cabinet, Rosewood and Ash Inlay, Made in Italy by Hebanon

About the Item

Frida is a tribute to the creative female force represented through geometric shapes. An inner place that is wild and untouched. A jungle that takes an anthropomorphic shape and is decomposed into lights and shadows and that contains within itself the key elements of the nature that inspired its creation. The doors are finely inlaid by hand by Hebanon's master cabinetmakers in an elegant fan pattern, the wood essences used are Brazilian rosewood and black ebony. The legs are black lacquered wood and the feet are brass with a rose gold finish. Features: Bar Cabinet with inlaied doors in rosewood and black ash, legs in wood and golden rose metal, interiors in etched mirror Designer: Hebanon Studio, product design studio behind the century-old company Hebanon Fratelli Basile - 1830. Our creations are born from the observation of People. We try to interpret their desires and emotions, evolution and dynamism. Our vocation is to give people a small moment of wonder. Because the moments that amaze us, make our days interesting and bring us back to a state of serenity. Language: Our language stems from our cultural heritage coming from the Kingdom of the two Sicilies and from cabinetmaking of which we have internalized the discipline, technique and vision. - The carvings: they become elements that sculpt the air and dictate the rhythm of space; a game of seduction between opposites: hot and cold, masculine and feminine, natural and precious materials, pure and primary shapes alternating with organic forms of nature. - The inlays: they lose the only decorative value, acquiring in themselves the narrative value of the object; perspectives, optical illusions, sometimes provocative, sometimes sensual, sometimes ethereal and elusive, natural materials and textures that anthropomorphize nature. The Company identity: 42 are the wooden species kept in our vault of centuries-old veneers, 5 of which are endangered; 2 are the result of anomalies: woods tell as much about humanity as people do. In Hebanon Fratelli Basile 1830 we operate with respect for man and the environment, using only non-toxic products for human health, formaldehyde free, wood with forest certifications and recovering processing waste as a source of complementary energy. All products are 100% certified Designed and manufactured in Italy, branded and identified by an identification number and holographic mark that guarantee their uniqueness and originality in the world. Prices do not include shipping from Italy.

Italian Art Deco Bar Cabinet in Parchment with Inlays Signed by Anzani, 1930s
By Giuseppe Anzani
Located in Meda, MB
This bar cabinet was produced in Italy, in the late 1930s and is a really unique and special piece. Its tremendous historical and artistic value is what makes this item a real piece of art, hard to find and one of a kind. Firstly, let's talk about its history. It was produced most likely in 1939 in Mariano Comense which is a small village near Milan by the artist Giuseppe Anzani. Anzani has been one of the greatest, if not the greatest wood crafter and inlaid maker. He started his career as an engraver when he was a little child and he won awards for his skills when he was only 16. Later on, he started also to master the art of wood inlay, becoming the most skilled inlayer of all times. His fame was so big that people from all over the world used to come to his little laboratory in the small and unknown village...
