Angelo Mangiarotti Cabinet in Wood and Aluminium

About the Item

Angelo Mangiarotti for Poltronova, cabinet/bookcase, wood, aluminum, Italy, 1960s. This stunning bookcase or hihboard is part of the versatile multi-use series designed by Mangiarotti for Poltronova. Known for its adaptability, the series allows users to customize each piece to their preference. This cabinet showcases a harmonious design of horizontal and vertical lines, creating a subtle Japanese aesthetic. It features four aluminum shelves that appear to float, creating a sense of lightness. Between the shelves are six wooden sliding doors, which can be repositioned to create a dynamic, ever-changing composition. Crafted from exotic wood, the doors form a striking contrast with the light aluminum, adding depth and elegance. An exceptional piece, both in terms of design and functionality.   Kindly take note that the item is in good, used condition and shows some signs of wear and use common for a piece this age.
