About the Item
Antique Country French Cabinet ~ Confiturier will make a charming addition to any room! Hand-crafted from old-growth oak to last for generations, it features a beveled top overlooking chamfered side panels framed by uprights joined with mortise & tenon work. A convenient drawer appears at the top, lavished directly into the drawer facade with sculpted floral sprays then fitted with a ring pull. An open cubby compartment appears just below, with a cabinet door under that, which opens to reveal a shelf for storage accommodation. The cabinet door is framed with an arbalette form at top, carved with the same floral spray motif emanating from a basket. The beautifully contoured apron at the bottom duplicates that theme, but with a unique interpretation, framed by scrolled legs with escargot feet. Steel hinges and key guard complete the look.
