Antique French Cabinet Carved Oak Louis XV Petite Foyer Side Table c1890.
Direct from France, a highly carved antique French “confiturier” or jam cabinet. These cabinets are one of our most requested antiques, with their petite size and ornate carvings, they have so many uses in today’s home!
Fully carved front drawer over a beveled, paneled and carved door that features classic French shell and carved floral designs that are repeated in the lower scalloped apron. Carvings also to each of the rounded front edges and cabriole feet. Well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1890.
Measurements: 37.25” ht. x 22.75” x 15.75”.

~Cabinet top is completely hand carved in a lovely floral motif, with the same carved design on all four sides of the body~
~Open carved French trim on all the apron sides with dimensional faces on the corners~
