Bernard Marange (1928-) Cabinet, TFM edition, France, circa 1968 Brushed metal, wenge plywood Measures: Height 160 x Width 103 x Depth 51 cm Literature: Catalogue commercial TFM, circa 1968 Meubles et sièges français d'aujourd'hui, CREAC, 1970 References: Bernard Marange studied at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts. Successively attached to an architectural firm in Nice, director-founder of the Société des Meubles Polyvalents, director of the Société Axa Airborne Plan System, for which he created models, opened in 1963 his own design office in Paris. Among his most notable projects: the International Convention Center in Paris, the Colombes Youth House, the Socotec headquarters and of course the furniture collection for TFM and Alpha International. Condition report: good original condition. Brushed metal in good condition. Wengé veneer with a few minor flaws, some veneer skip, stains and scratches from use. One glass shelve inside
