Chinese Cabinet, 18th Century

About the Item

A wonderful 18th century panel door cabinet, three carved drawers with nail head studs, across the top, Shanxi China, circa 1790. Having a 200 year old beautiful patina that is outstanding for a cabinet of this type. Worn painted panels with a sensational patina of faded colors accent the configuration of the paneled detail from the doors to the lower panels. Detailed panel door design with paneled apron. Large inside storage for every day use. A large sturdy cabinet in very good condition, doors work perfectly folding back to each side. A beautiful and significant statement piece.
