A fantastic HiFi cabinet designed by Claudio Salocchi, manufactured by Sormani in Italy around 1960.
This beautiful and rare piece is made of high quality rosewood with one door being white laminated. It stands on a swivel base and the doors reveal speakers on each side and a platform that holds an actual record player in the middle! This impressive piece will be an incredible addition to the decor, adding style to the interior but also a fantastic atmosphere with the beautiful sounds of the records playing. We tested it ourselves and it’s in perfect working condition with a beautiful sound. This is a unique opportunity to obtain an very rare piece of Italian quality design!
Labeled on the record player as shown in photos.
It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.

Claudio Salocchi
Born in Milan 1934, graduated in Architecture at the Milan Politecnico University. He has been Vice-President of ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale), and has taught at the State Professional Institute of Furniture and Furnishings in Lissone and the School of Architecture of Milan Polytechnic. On an international level, Salocchi’s work covers the fields of architecture, interior and industrial design. A great deal of his works and projects were chosen and exhibited through selections or invitations at the most important exhibitions, events or museums, worldwide.
