Amazing pair of cabinet and chest by Svend Langkilde, Denmark. Langkilde had his own workshop and this pair was handmade to match as a pair. Notice the teakwood veneer on the top of the two pieces that mirror each other. Cabinet with two doors with brass fittings, interior with trays and shelves. Chest with four drawers in front.
PROVENANCE: bought directly from the estate of Danish architect Arne Wahl-Iversen who bought them in the early 1960s.
