About the Item

A sideboard crafted in the style of Henning Kjærnulf, showcasing oak construction with excellent craftsmanship. It features adjustable shelving with corner holes in the back frame, combining functionality with a thoughtful design. The surface was treated with an acid process to remove humidity, leaving a light, raw finish that was later treated with oil or grease. Despite its size, the design feels balanced, with squared proportions that create a calm, timeless look. Carved details on the front and subtle textures between the legs provide a refined, geometric character. The lower section features sculptural, organic carvings, while the upper section has a clean design with simple squared-patterned door details that offer a calm energy. 4 sturdy legs, connected by a low carved beam, provide stability and a grounded appearance. The cupboard offers generous storage without dominating a room and pairs well with various interiors, from mid-century and art deco to modern and minimalist spaces, adding warmth and character. The locks on the doors work smoothly, all drawesr lock are functional. All drawers slide properly. There is a little patina on the top surface; please refer to the photos for detail. Overall, the Cabinet is in very very good condition.
