Georgian Mahogany Serpentine Butler’s Desk or Library Cabinet
About the Item
A fine hand carved Georgian mahogany butler’s desk with conforming molded edge top surmounting a slide out top drawer with hinged writing surface and fitted drawers, over two paneled doors which open to two slide-out shelves, oval brass drawer pulls and side brass case handles, all supported by a carved bracket base. The desk or cabinet dates to the early 19th century and is in very good condition, with minor surface scratches and light wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 32 in H x 39.25 in W x 21.5 in D. Ref: 787
