Italian Engraved Murano Glass Mirror Cabinet, Art Deco Style

About the Item

This Art Deco style Cabinet was produced in Italy in the 1980s circa. It is completely covered of Murano Glass bevelled panels. The real star of this piece is her majesty the engraving. The patterns on the mirrors, obtained by means of its grinding wheel engraving feature floral designs. This cabinet in particular was produced in Murano, a small island near Venice, famous for glass handcrafting. It is in perfect vintage conditions.

This bar cabinet was produced in Italy, in the late 1930s and is a really unique and special piece. It was produced most likely in 1939 in Mariano Comense which is a small village near Milan by the artist Giuseppe Anzani. Anzani has been one of the greatest, if not the greatest wood crafter and inlaid maker.
