About the Item

This Japanese antique cabinet was crafted in the Early Showa Period (1926–). Made from hinoki wood (Japanese cypress), the piece has developed a soft, aged patina over time that adds warmth and depth to its appearance. The sliding glass doors are fitted with traditional wavy glass, creating gentle visual distortion that softens what’s displayed inside. A subtle yet distinctive detail is the curved design at the top of each door frame—an elegant touch that adds character without interrupting the cabinet’s clean and minimal silhouette. Though simple in form, the piece naturally draws the eye, making it not only a practical storage solution but also a visually engaging presence in any interior. Cleaned and disinfected with a non-toxic solution. The doors move smoothly. As an antique piece, minor scratches and marks may be present, each adding to its unique charm and the story it tells over time. It has been carefully inspected and remains in excellent antique condition, with natural signs of age that enhance its character. Weight :28.9lbs(13.4kg) Shipping Information We ship from Japan.
