Lacquered Cabinet by Bruno Paul for Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau, Germany 1930s

About the Item

Amazing black lacquered cabinet or bookcase by Bruno Paul for Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau from Germany 1930s. This amazing piece has a very French Art Deco look and feels, however, is clearly marked with 'Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau'. It has two sliding doors with shelves behind it and two smaller doors below. These doors have a beautiful silver-colored decoration. The cabinet stands on small legs, giving it an elegant look and feel. Although being almost 100 years old, it is still in really good condition with small wear and tear due to its age.
