An impressive, large sideboard by Fratelli Turri from Italy, manufactured around 1950. This quality piece is made of high quality burl wood. This materials provides a beautiful pattern in the wood and has a wonderful gloss finish. Bronze door knobs, marble feet and top and brass details are all elements of this fantastic piece that is clearly incredibly well designed. The use of materials, shapes and colors all provide to the amazing sense of elegance to this design. When opened, the doors reveal plenty of storage capacity in the shape of different shelves and drawers. Clearly, this piece has a very versatile use and can fit in many different settings, always guaranteed to impress, especially combined with it’s width of 296 cm! A true high quality piece of Italian mid-century design! It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
