Mid-Century Modern Danish Highboard or Cabinet in Teak by Axel Christensen Odder

This beautifully restored mid-century teak highboard was designed by Danish cabinetmaker Axel Christensen Odder (ACO) and produced in Denmark in the 1960s. A striking example of Scandinavian modern design, it features finely sculpted handles, solid teak edging, and tall tapered legs — showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship and minimalist elegance typical of the era.
The sideboard offers excellent storage behind four sliding doors. Inside, two compartments are connected and equipped with adjustable shelves, while the third includes three repositionable drawers lined with green felt — perfect for cutlery or accessories.
Fully restored and refinished, the piece is in very good vintage condition, with minimal signs of wear. A minor repair on the lower back corner (left side) has been professionally retouched and is barely visible. This versatile cabinet is ideal for living rooms, dining areas, or design-forward interiors that celebrate original Danish mid-century furniture.
