About the Item

An antique Chinese Qing Dynasty period bedside cabinet from the 19th century, with two doors and brass hardware. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period, this bedside cabinet features a rectangular planked top adorned with ornate brass ornaments in the corners. The façade showcases two doors decorated with slightly raised panels. Fitted with brass hardware showcasing thin rectangular backplates and ornate pulls, the doors open to reveal inner shelves and two hidden drawers in the lower section, adorned with brass motifs echoed from the top. The side panels present lateral C-scroll handles with floral backplates, allowing the piece to be moved more easily. The back is simply planked. Resting on a rectangular plinth, the cabinet boasts a nicely weathered patina. We review all of our pieces and address issues we may find before they leave for your home; however, this is an antique piece, and as such it will keep its character and some imperfections, which is the quintessence of antique and vintage furniture. With its clean lines and dark patina, this Qing Dynasty period Chinese cabinet from the 19th century will make for a great addition to any living room or bedroom!
