Tall Rosewood Veneer Cabinet with Key by SAM, France 1950s

About the Item

A tall 1950s Mid-Century Modern cabinet designed in France by SAM (Société Auxiliaire du Meuble). This stunning cabinet is constructed of richly hued rosewood veneer and features two lower rectangular shelves and a single door — opening to reveal two additional shelves for significant storage space. Carved geometric panels, ebonized grisaille details, and a brass keyhole accent this beautifully crafted piece. One key included. Maker’s mark stamp present. France 1950s. Condition: Good overall vintage condition. The rosewood veneer is slightly lifting on the bottom shelf. Minor scratches and marks throughout that align with age and use. The backside is unfinished. Includes one key. Maker’s mark stamp present.
