About the Item

A fantastic quality chest on chest/tallboy. This beautiful and compact piece looks stunning with the oak lined drawers having their fronts decorated with circular-cu-cut, yew wood Oyster veneers, making this piece stand out not only as a practical piece of furniture but visually like a piece of artwork! The piece retains its original drawers and carcass but as expected at some point in its life has been restored to a high standard, including repairs & replacement of any of the damaged oyster veneers and replacement of the bun feet that had rotted out, so had to be replaced. The quality brass drop handles have been replaced as well to fit in with the look & period of the piece. All are resulting in a stunning piece of quality, high-end English furniture.
