Bombé Shaped Swedish Rococo Chest Drawers with Øland Stone Top, 1760-1770

Bombé shaped Swedish Rococo chest of drawers. Elegantly veneered in walnut, mirror-cut walnut and line marquetry in lemon wood. With exceptionally beautiful original top of Øland stone, with elegant edge profiles, made by master stonemason. Original gold-plated fittings, locks and key. Top drawer with stamp for Stockholm Snedkerlaug. Beautiful original condition with gentle repolish. Sweden, Stockholm 1760-1770. Top stone measures: H: 3 - W: 91 - D: 48 cm.
