About the Item
A Rare, Early 19th Century Mahogany Campaign Chest of Unusual Form.
Sometimes called military chests, this one is made from quality mahogany with original inset brass handles, and carrying handles to the sides. Having an unusual feature of the lift up top, with dummy drawers at the front, which opens on hinges to reveal a compartment. Standing on a plinth base with small, concealed castors.
Nice small and neat proportions.
