Fine French Marquetry Louis XV Style Commode With Marble Top
About the Item
A fine and striking bombe commode with parquetry case and colored floral marquetry on the two drawers and sides. Elaborate brass baroque style leafy mounts with one working escutcheon (lacking a key) and sabots. With a fine conforming marble top with carved edge (the white lines are natural to the marble and are not breaks).

Condition: Please see detail photos. The overall condition is very good noting some minor veneer losses which do not detract from the colorful French presentation.
