About the Item

An Italian painted wood chest of drawers from the mid 20th century. This vintage bureau from Italy has a softly curved serpentine front, with case housing three full-sized drawers, a beautifully scalloped skirt along three sides, and presented on block style feet, with front feet being rounded as to continue the soft lines of the rounded side posts. The dove-tailed drawers are each adorned with decoratively carved panels, brass rococo style hardware, and escutcheons set at center. The chest has been painted a creamy latte with hints of grey, and there is a charcoal accent color about the trim. This mid-century Italian chest is just over 4 feet in length, and will make a wonderful case piece for your storage and display needs.
