This is an old 9 drawer storage made in Japan.
It was made between the Meiji and Taisho periods (1860s-1920s).
The material used is cedar wood, and the texture of the wood surface over the years gives it a sense of depth. Iron hardware is used for the handles, giving the impression of tightening the entire piece.
