Having 8 graduated mahogany lined drawers all with a fine etched aesthetic designs around the edge that match the same designs running down each of the stiles. The Wellington chest stands on the original turned bun feet. Victorian Wellington chests have always been a fantastic addition to the home as they can be used in so many areas, and as they are narrow, they can fit in those areas other pieces cannot. Pollard oak is a material you find on pieces made only in the best workshops. It is not an easy timber to work with and so it took the more skilled cabinetmakers to bench make these pieces.
