About the Item
This English pine cupboard has two upper doors having two recessed panels framed with carved moldings and lower panels framed with carved stylized quarter fans. The cornice has a carved reeded frieze, and the stiles have recessed reeded panels extending from the frieze to the base. The lower doors each have two recessed panels framed with carved moldings. There are shrinkage separations in the back, interior, and drawer bottoms. The interior retains its original blue paint which is heavily spotted from age. There is exposed peg and mortise and tenon construction throughout.
