Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this absolutely exquisite hand made in England circa 1800 Sheraton Housekeepers cupboard Armoire which bank of drawers to the base Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price This piece is exquisite, please look at the Sheraton inlay, I have never seen it on this type of furniture before, it is sublime! Housekeepers cupboards were used for the staff and servants in their quarters to store linens in, they were worker day pieces made in Pine usually, this is in oak with sublime inlay which as mentioned, its one of a kind, this must have been used in the main house and not hidden away and the owner wanted something really special The linen shelves were removed many years ago and a rail fitted to the top so it can be used for normal hanging cloths, the top row of drawers are faux and give extra height to the hanging cloths, the bottom three rows are all full depth drawers We have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, there will be some small losses and general patina all over as you would expect Dimensions Height:- 212.5cm Width:- 153.5cm Depth:- 62.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
