Wonderful early 19th century country French Louis XIV style marriage closet.
This lovely cabinet is made of intricately hand-carved oak, and originates from Normandy, notably featuring symbolic carvings typical of marriage wardrobes in the region.
Of note, are the beautiful feet, beautiful corners, and carvings, including a large carved urn filled with roses (evoking love).
So many pretty details to look at, and super genuine patina.
