1940s Vintage Mahogany Art Deco Executive Desk Called the Fletcher Aviation Desk

Mahogany Art Deco executive desk known as the fletcher aviation desk.
This beautiful Mahogany Art Deco Iconic executive desk. Known As the Fletcher aviation desk is a great American made desk 1940s. It was designed by frank Fletcher and manufactured by Fletcher Aviation company of Pasadena, CA
The Fletcher aviation mahogany executive desk has a large and unusual shape of an aviation wing. Looking at the top of this aviation desk you can see the shape of an airplane wing with three rounded corners. Ample storage within the 6 pull out drawers on both sides of the desk, along with 2 slide out extra writing surfaces to accommodate a typewriter or laptop and a front pencil / utility drawer (no key). All drawers have as you see are notched out hand areas for easy pulling out. The base of the desk is a thick steel plinth like base that curves to the shape of the winged desk as seen as in the pics.
The condition of this Art Deco mahogany Fletcher aviation desk is strong and sturdy. The drawers pull in and out easily. The condition of the mahogany is good but needs some restoration. As you can see the wood is dry and does have some chips to the veneer. Some imperfections to the top of desk is seen in the pics.
