The exceptional cabinet work plus the extraordinary marquetry
Art work that is exhibited throughout this piece is very rare to
Find. The cylinder door rolls back to reveal an interior gallery with
Stepped drawers, a double interior door that opens to a mirror
Lined interior, above a bombe’ chest fitted with four drawers, carved
Apron, rising on front paw feet. The entire cabinet is profusely inlaid
With tulips, birds and butterflies. When the writing surface is open
The interior reveals a surface that is also inlaid with marquetry.
The lower edge has a scalloped shape with a carved hour glass
Motif. The sides are also profusely decorated with marquetry.
