English 19th Century Sheraton Style Mahogany Clerk's Desk or Standing Desk

About the Item

Antique English early to mid-19th century Sheraton style mahogany Clerk's desk or standing desk with fitted interior and satinwood drawers having original turned ebony round pulls (some a/f). Exterior base with original antique mahogany knobs Please note handsome bobbin or spool-turned legs. Prospect interior door and three smaller interior drawers missing as well as some of the cock-beading, but all of this has been accounted for in the price of this rare and original clerk's desk. Brass presentation plaque is original. Measure: 55 1/4" H (top of pediment) 44 1/2" H (at front).
