About the Item

British campaign chest of drawers in rosewood from the early 1900s. In classic campaign style, the chest is in two parts to allow for easier transportation complete with flush brass pulls. Secondary wood is also rosewood--a dense and exotic hardwood. There are a few imperfections and losses around two corners of the drawers and the top has slight and subtle checking, but all in all, in good condition for the age. Handsome.
