A George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers Converted to a Cabinet Circa 1780 and Later Height 37 3/4 x width 42 x depth 21 1/2 inches. Provenance: Acquired by the present owner in 1979 from Malcolm Franklin's family after his passing. Mr. Franklin himself converted the chest to a cabinet to contain phonograph equipment, for his personal use. I was going to have the top lined in mirror to be used as a bar.
