About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of original Antique Regency circa 1810 flamed mahogany pedestal drinks cabinets with gilt bronze fittings
A very good looking and well made pair, these are pretty much the finest quality I have ever seen, the cuts of timber are exquisite, the fixtures and fittings period and original, they have domed tops which reveal a precut zinc lined four bottle holder, it was designed to be used with ice and cold water which the excess running out via a tap in the understand of the cupboard which is still present. The second pedestal is for glasses. Both have hand carved Lion's hairy paw feet and the handles are of course Lions heads.
We have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, they are in good used period order throughout, there will be normal patination marks here and there
