Mid century burr walnut cocktail drinks cabinet, two doors, glass shelves with mirrored back base and brush slide, above two drawers, raised on carved cabriole legs. Measures: height 60", width 33", depth 17.
This is a fantastic vintage burr walnut cocktail cabinet with wonderful hand carved decoration and the set of glassware, dating from the mid 20th century.
The cabinet doors open to reveal a stunning fitted mirrored interior with a pair of glass shelves, a useful pull out slidefor serving drinks and comes complete with a suite of 24 vintage hand cut crystal glassware comprising.

6x Champagne glasses
6x Wine glasses
6x Sherry / port glasses
1x Jug
1x Decanter
It is fitted with a light that switches on when you open the door, it has been rewired and is in working order.
The lower part has two handy drawers to house all your cocktail making accessories. The cabinet has decorative brass handless and stands on cabriole legs.

Burr Walnut refers to the swirling figure present in nearly all walnut when cut and polished, and especially in the wood taken from the base of the tree where it joins the roots. However the true burr is a rare growth on the tree where hundreds of tiny branches have started to grow. Burr walnut produces some of the most complex and beautiful figuring you can find.
