About the Item

Rare and beautiful vintage dry bar. in mustard suede, chromed metal bars. Fully original set, complete of its original platform and a customized mirror to be placed in the left side of the back. The set also includes: illuminated shelves, a counter with a mirrored glass top, chrome sides, a suede front panel and two stools with original suede seats. Shelf dimensions: H. 75.98 in. / 193cm; Sides 59.06 x 47.24 x 37.01 in / 150 x 120 x 94 cm. Countertop dimension: H 35.04 x 53.15 20.87 in. / 89 x 135 x 53cm. Back dimensions: H 34.65 x 50.39 x 31.50 in. / H 88cm x 128cm x 80cm. Very good condition except for a stain in the top stripe of the countertop's suede, a very minor chip in the countertop's glass and a rip in the suede of one of the stools. Ref. Elle Home 06/19/2016. Willy Rizzo (Naples, 22 October 1928 – 25 February 2013). He was an Italian photographer and designer. Willy Rizzo started his career as a photographer in Paris very early in the 40s. Great photographer of personalities, fashion and great reports, he has exhibited all over the world: at Galerie Agathe Gaillard in Paris, at Galerie Bukamura in Tokyo, at Maison de la Photographie in Moscow, at Mallett gallery in New York and London, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, or even at the MUBE in São Paulo. Imagination and necessity launched Willy Rizzo into the world of furniture design. As a photographer of Playboys and Starlets, he had a ready-made customer base eager to build their living quarters around an ultra-modern Rizzo piece and items that remain as timeless as his images of him.
