About the Item

A rare and sought after 20th Century French open display metal étagère with glass shelves. This French unit has a whimsical design which is reminiscent of Giacometti style. The patinated iron frame is topped with swan-head finials at each corner and has a knotted x-shaped motif down each shelves exterior side. Playfully raised upon four webbed feet. With five glass shelves (including the glass shelf at top), the lowest shelf being smaller to allow for the inward curvature of the design. Standing just shy of seven feet in height and will make a stylish display case. Decorated with art, books, or other treasured collectibles. There is extraordinarily a pair of these rare finds and they are available to purchase separately.
