About the Item

A vintage American Industrial style wood and metal shelving unit from the mid 20th century with two shelves, twisted motifs, lateral handles and half moon cross stretcher. Made in the USA during the Midcentury period, this two tiered piece features two wooden shelves secured within a thin metal structure. The upper and lower planked wooden shelves are each surrounded by a thin gallery raised by curving supports. The ensemble is resting on four straight slender legs accented with twisted motifs flanked by large curving handles in the mid section, while the bottom part is strengthened by a cross stretcher with half-moon motifs. With its Industrial look and airy presence, this American vintage wood and metal shelving unit from the mid 20th century will bring a touch of rustic authenticity to any home décor, placed in a kitchen, mudroom or hallway.
