About the Item
Ca. late 18th- 19th century. A fine example of the classic type of bread storage cabinet holding a special place in a country French home. Crafted in carved walnut with a decorated shaped crest rail and shell and vine on the skirt rail. The front and sides are open with baluster form spindles and a decorated small center door with a key. It opens to a table form shelf with legs inside. The top with tall turned elements on the front and sides and raised on short cabriolet legs with classic French snail’s head foot.
Dimensions: 40" long x 20" deep x 29" high
Condition: Please review the detail photos. Various signed of age and use including: There is some slight wear on the legs and inside but overall with a fine finish and presenting in a fine Provincial French manner.
