About the Item

A one of a kind sculptural dresser that doubles as functional furniture and expressive folk art. This playful, hand-painted piece features a bold, three-dimensional carved wood and paper-mache, face stretched across its drawers, depicting a wide-eyed, open-mouthed character in a turquoise suit and patterned tie. Hand crafted and hand painted in vivid hues, the dresser offers both charm and utility, with four spacious drawers accented by white and knobs. Opening in mouth can be used to store small objects. Some wear and patina on the face add to its unique character. A striking addition to any eclectic interior, gallery space, or art collection. Wear as shown. Signed and dated on back side.
