19th Century French Empire Vitrine Cabinet Ca. 1820-1840 for Restoration
About the Item
A vitrine cabinet with an arched quadruple pediment above a single glazed door with one long drawer centered by bronze and ebonized mounted 3/4 classical figural columns. The whole in a French polished fruitwood. The interior lined with glass shelves and silk. Restoration recommended.
Condition: Please see detail photos. For Restoration. Various signs of age include veneer losses, veneer lifting, scrapes and some age cracking. warping veneer, nicks, chips and finish losses. Despite the wear the cabinet retains an admirable Empire presentation.
