French 18th Century Louis XVI Period Country French Provençal Oak Center Table
About the Item
A very handsome French 18th century Louis XVI period country French Provençal oak center table. The table is raised on bun feet below the column supports with blocks at the bottom and large acanthus leaves at the top. The legs are joined with a scrolled X stretcher with a rosette at the center. Centered at the front and back of the apron is a large rosette, with foliate at each side, and rounded rosette blocks at each corner. All below the original Rouge Royal marble top. All original warm patina throughout.
