Italian Neoclassical Scagliola Top Center Table
About the Item
An Italian Neoclassical circular center table made of solid and veneer of cherry. The top is scagliola, a hand-painted plaster technique that resembles inlays in marble. Elegant turned legs with urn forms and gilded foliate decoration with bead border and ebonized details. Shaped x-stretchers with large center finial. French polish finish. Some missing gilt trim.
